In Repose 00:27
2.
There's a face in the paint on the brick wall, On all sides, surrounded by dirt. In this hole, I am swallowed by the earth. There's a face in the wall but it's not mine. I've been counting my steps. I've been counting the layers of skin stitched to the top of my bones, But it's not mine and I don't feel at home. Bury me. I can't breathe. Suffocate beneath dry leaves. I can't get used to this. Bury me underneath everything I ever wanted to be. I'd keep my eyes shut while they replace my skin if I could. I would keep my mouth shut while they replace my head. If I could, I would.

Dreamcatcher 02:40
I saw you finally sleeping and left you in your peaceful repose while you were dreaming. I was finding it harder and harder to calm my breathing, And it was eating me alive while I stood outside, freezing. As your lips paled, every breath I inhaled was nothing more than another that I was releasing. Every word I read made my head spin. I felt the warmth leave your skin. I felt you wearing thin as the pulse escaped your body and caught within the woven strands that hung above the bed, While the dread hung above my head. All I said was nothing. I wish I had. I grasped for the numbness as I glanced into the bottom of the bottle, Thinking how you did the same awful thing, Staring at the autumn leaves, Unaware of the sorrow that you'd leave behind. When you took your own life, you also took mine.

Birdwatching 03:34
My hands are numb, my feet turning blue from the cold. I don't want to go inside. I don't want to go home. Swallow my nauseousness. Cover me like your skin. Throw me out like the teeth you pulled from your jaw. Choke me with stomach acid kept in my throat, tangled in the words that I never spoke. You swore by your soul you could cut me open, if that's what you want. Cut me open. Spill my blue veins if it makes you happy; if it makes you feel okay. Maybe I'm no victim. The air is growing thicker by the minute. Trees are watching. Limbs are growing from my open wounds.

Still Life 03:47
Your floral fingerprint litters the walls of this house. My eyes strain to see in the dark. My skin splits, I'm coming apart. I follow the lines on the floor. I can't help myself anymore. I'm nothing short of disappointing. But I swear I'm fine, and I hope you're alright.

Patchwork 04:31
I don’t know how far this hole goes down, but I know it fits my head and my limbs perfect. You can bury me alive behind your house, or watch me rot from the inside out. Tear my skin right off my bones. Turn me hollow. Turn me gold. Cut me open. You will find my bones are sharp, my blood has dried. Fill me up with stones to keep you out and never let you go. I am swallowed by the earth. I am twisted; I am turned. I am slowly growing cold. I am hollow. I am gold. I’ve been having nightmares of another man’s hell. Twist the knife as my insides start to rot. Take my eyes from my skull, empty lungs inside my chest. I will never be alone with a head so full of pests.

Fever Dream 04:09
I'll be the thorn in your side. I am the twisted vine. I'll be the thorn in your side. I am the lies you swallow. My body is a prison. I've been slowly rotting from the inside out. My body is a prison now. Lie awake as I drag you further down. This body is a prison.
